End of ski season 2023

It is the end of the season 2023, we still have some great spring ski session ahead of us, but it is time for us to look back on what happened in this season and prepare for 2023-2024.

Just a quick reminder to check your boots before putting them away for the summer. And if needed, you can send them here for repair. Over here !

On our athletes side :

Special congrats to :

Rémi Bonnet, just incredible this season ! With seven victories in world-cup, a huge congrats to you Rémi, you’ve made us vibrate during the whole season. A great champion !

Kilian Jornet, true to himself, incredible of creativity in his runs and always monstrous. We’ve particularly loved the 7 major summit of Romsdal. The video

Benjamin Vedrine, made us dream with wonderful crossing, amazing alpine achievement, we really liked this local crossing that mades us travel through queyras.

Laetitia Roux, with her project “be the change”, with strong ecological value, she manages to motivate us to go adventuring while changing our habits.

François D’Haene, injured for most of the ski season he still took the start of the PIerra Menta, and he just released his first book, perfect for recuperation this summer.

The whole GMHM team, for the incredible crossing of more than 600km across two great ice caps. Pictures are really impressive. Video

Our environmental impact :

Every year, we produce 66 tonnes equivalent of CO2 (realized in 2021). In order to keep reducing our impact, we’ve set ourselves some goals :

• 5% reduction of our CO2 emission on our home-work transport, by promoting carpooling or cycling, with the help of mobility bonus.

• Since few years, we are members of 1% for the planet For season 23-24 we would like to give you the opportunity to vote for your preferred association amongst a selection that we will make.

• We have removed on almost all of our boots the varnish, without loosing in protection, thanks to a new process of fabrication using polished aluminum mold.

The team :

On our side, we are now 12 passionate people, to developpe, create and take care of your boots. We are all eager to meet you next season on any kind of skimo event or even just on the snow !
